Adult Tennis

Adult tennis continues to develop at the club. The range of coaching and competitive opportunities gives our players everything they need to really get into tennis. Download our Adult Membership form here. If you wish to pay by standing order please click here.

What We Offer

Members can access free coaching on Tuesday evenings. Social tennis takes place on Wednesday evenings (summer only) and Sunday afternoons. There is also a Mens doubles session on a Friday evening. Riverside enters many teams in both National and Local leagues and runs various tournaments throughout the year. Adult members are able to book courts 364 days a year.

Adult Coaching

Numerous squads take place throughout the week to cater for all levels. We run a ladies only session on a Tuesday morning, alongside doubles sessions on a Friday and a singles evening on a Sunday. New players who may not have picked up a racket for a while who are unable to access our daytime programme can take part in our Friday night sessions which are run in conjunction with the local Sports Development Unit. Both doubles and singles are taught throughout all our group sessions. Those wishing to really get an edge over their clubmates can call upon our team of coaches for a one-to-one session. Cardio Tennis

If you're looking to melt calories, get fitter, meet likeminded people and improve your game we run 3 Cardio Tennis Sessions per week at Riverside. Cardio Tennis is a group fitness session which focuses more on keeping you moving than teaching you how to hit a ball. You can work at your own pace and it's a really fun way to get fit.

1. It's NOT coaching but is run by a coach
2. It's a FITNESS SESSION WITH A TENNIS RACKET IN HAND
3. It uses low compression balls [to make you hit HARDER]
4. It WILL improve your fitness & movement on court and will THEREFORE make you a better player
5. You can do it AT YOUR OWN PACE - Make it harder or easier for yourself
6. The sessions is done to MUSIC
7. [You might be a little bit sore the following day - and then a little bit more sore the day after]
